After almost 7 months of development, “What do I care about the money. THE GAME” has seen the light. We are filled with pride to have conceived and developed for the SANTALUCÍA Institute, part of the Santalucía Group, a Financial education project unique in Spain. Aimed at 14 to 18 year olds, this initiative is a Two-phase awareness campaign, a first that challenges students to demonstrate and expand their knowledge of personal finance management, covering everything from budgeting to investing and entrepreneurship, and a second phase in which these students will be the stars of a communication campaign.
In a context where, according to the latest PISA report, a high percentage of students finish compulsory secondary education without receiving financial education training, Our initiative presents itself as an innovative response to equip the new generation with practical, real-world tools that transform their relationship with money.
What does the project consist of?
The project is a Virtual simulation of the most famous talent shows. Each participant faces real-world challenges through a custom-designed mobile app, which allows you to track your progress, accumulate points and unlock rewards as you advance through different thematic modules. Each module focuses on a key aspect of financial education, allowing young people to experience decision-making, risk analysis, and practical resource management.. For the creation of this content, we have had the collaboration of Rita Gali, content creator and coach for the first block relating to budgets, alongside experts Tacho Arrimadas, Beatriz Franganillo, Angel Urquiza and Jorge Millán Astray, who have enriched the blocks of Investment and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, The app will be available on the Apple Store and Google Play., facilitating your access and use for all students. Likewise, the competition has been developed in close collaboration with State Confederation of Associations of Secondary School Economics Teachers, ensuring that the content and challenges are perfectly aligned with the school curriculum and meet the real needs of both teachers and students.
The success of this ambitious initiative would not have been possible without the joint effort of the MIG Prisma's planning, creative, design, technology, and audiovisual teams, who have worked shoulder to shoulder to materialise this end-to-end experience, combining academic rigour with innovation, interactivity, and a high-impact visual approach. Their work has been instrumental in developing an educational tool that not only informs, but also motivates and transforms the way young people understand personal finance.
Y The experience doesn't end with the competition. Following the conclusion of the competition, a awareness campaign based on generated content during the event, with the aim of amplifying the impact and bringing the educational message to an even wider audience, reaffirming the commitment to financial education from the classroom to society in general.
Working on “Y a mí qué el dinero – The Game” has been a profoundly inspiring experience that has allowed us to contribute to the formation of a generation of more informed and economically responsible citizens. We want to thank the SANTALUCÍA Institute, from the SANTALUCÍA Group, for their trust in us to lead this very relevant initiative.
