In what many are calling the era of stakeholder capitalism, There's nothing more capitalist and more geared towards vested interests than social media.. These are the perfection of capitalism, as in their freeness, they hide that, by using them, we are all the product and, best of all, we firmly believe that we are not. But it is fair to recognise that they are a formidable instrument for connecting with your interest groups without intermediaries. The era where we only answered to our shareholders has ended. The new paradigm forces companies to be an active part of the solution to a world where resources and patience are running out. We have a new mission, a purpose above all others: to create value and share it by valuing all our interest groups, considering the effect of our activities on people, the communities in which we operate, and the planet in a more integrated way.
This is why we opened a window that we didn't want to open before, for consistency with a very clear conception of social networks: If you're just going to make noise, if you're just going to be there because they tell you you have to be or why the others already are, If you're just going to be an echo of what others are already saying, and you're not going to know how to manage your own stupidity or that of others, then shut up. And focus all your efforts on doing the best possible job for your clients, in an honest, responsible and measurable way.
If success is measured by the bottom line, then in the eyes of those who think like that, we have been successful, year after year. And we haven't had social media. Therefore, we aren't doing it to change any inertia. We are doing it because our EBITDA is ethical. We are a resilient company, regretful and having learned from our mistakes., overflowing with good people who professionally give their all to be the best version of themselves, innovative to its limits, with eyes on the future and feet on the ground, committed to being an agent of the coming social change. It's time to share it.
