It was one of our company's major strategic objectives for 2020—one that the onset of COVID-19 forced us to delay by a few months—but it is now a reality. We began our international expansion by entering the United Kingdom through one of our technology divisions., la plataforma de formación online MDB Education, which has just opened an office in London after acquiring all the assets of HairTribe, previously our company's main English-speaking competitor.

Tras MDB, desplegaremos todas las soluciones vinculadas al área de New Business Development Germany MIG Embryonic And, if the strategic roadmap is followed, MIG Prisma en 2022 y 2023.

Our goal is to internationalize all of the technology and digital business areas in highly demanding and globalized markets, while gaining access to talent, resources, and solutions at earlier stages than those found in the Spanish market—which will allow us to deploy them more rapidly in the domestic market.

Stephen McManus will head the office as Director of Business Development for that market.

MDM, first station

Thus, MDB Education, owned by MIGThe company, whose shareholders also include the Spanish e-commerce firm Perfumes Club, is reinforcing its leadership in online training for Spanish-speaking beauty professionals and laying the groundwork to become a leader in the English-speaking world as well, following the acquisition of its UK competitor, the HairTribe platform. This operation represents a first step for the expansion to continue in other English-speaking countries, such as the US and Australia.

London, European hub for digital innovation

After analyzing various European alternatives in light of the uncertainties caused by Brexit, we have maintained our initial decision to keep London as our operations hub for two fundamental reasons.

On the one hand, there were the synergies with HairTribe, which facilitated a faster integration of its business model without the need to relocate assets. On the other—and even more importantly—there was the favorable environment offered by the United Kingdom in general, and London in particular, for attracting technology-based companies.

Likewise, being immersed in one of the global hubs of digital and technological innovation has been an additional factor favoring the decision, as well as a significant stimulus for the entire organization.
