MIG Prisma creates Santalucía Seguros' first corporate documentary

MIG Prisma, MIG's creative agency, has devised and fully produced the first corporate documentary SANTALUCÍA. The film has been created for the INSTITUTO SANTALUCÍA, the financial sustainability and social forecasting awareness platform of the Spanish company.
This is the first documentary made in Spain on financial education. It addresses the impact on the future of young people who have grown up between the two major recent economic crises, those of 2008 and 2020, given that the latest PISA report places Spanish students 13 points below the average in economic and financial knowledge.
“What's it to me, the money?” It is based on the true story of a teacher, Ramón Castro, and his students at IES Fernando de Mera, in Socuéllamos, Ciudad Real. MIG Prisma learned through social media about this teacher's concern for making his students, and society in general, aware that acquiring economic skills at these ages was fundamental to avoiding erroneous decisions with transcendental impact in adult life. From there, the agency developed the idea of creating a documentary around this story and offering a transversal and unbiased view of this issue, which had the full support of SANTALUCÍA.
The documentary lasts 50 minutes and is structured around seven chapters, which can also be viewed individually with slightly more length. It was filmed between March and June 2021, during the fourth wave, in various locations in Ciudad Real, Madrid, and Segovia. Various experts and institutions have participated, shedding light on the problem from different perspectives.
It was premiered in Ciudad Real on 4th October, coinciding with the start of Financial Education Week, but it wasn't until today, 7th October, that it was presented at a national level. It can now be viewed on the INSTITUTO SANTALUCÍA website (www.institutosantalucia.es/documental-educacion-financiera).
This project demonstrates our agency's ability to generate high-impact branded content, as evidenced by the fact that, with only a few hours of life, the documentary has already garnered the attention of national media outlets of the calibre of Onda Cero, El País, El Mundo, RTVE, etc., and the interest of various platforms in acquiring its broadcasting rights.
We thank SANTALUCÍA and the SANTALUCÍA INSTITUTE for the trust they have placed in our work over the years. We hope you can enjoy it!
