We created “A mí qué el dinero – The Game”, a gamified financial education platform for young people that turns learning about money, investment, and entrepreneurship into an engaging, creative, and classroom-connected experience. A project designed to involve students and teachers, generate original content, and launch an awareness campaign based on the real experiences of participants.
«What do I care about money» – The Game This is an innovative financial education competition designed for 14 to 18-year-olds. Through a gamified app experience, participants learn about money management, investment, and entrepreneurship, developing key skills for their financial future in an interactive and entertaining way.
This project is part of an awareness campaign on the importance of financial education among young people. Our approach was to design the competition as a preliminary step to the final awareness message, allowing the participants themselves to discover, reflect on, and apply key concepts before conveying to them the importance of good financial management in their daily lives. Your prize will be to participate in the awareness campaign itself.
The competition is also the first in its category to have taken the entire educational community into account. Both teachers and pupils have been a fundamental part of its development, ensuring that the proposal is not only innovative but also effective within the educational setting. By involving teachers in the process, a greater impact and real integration of financial education in the classroom has been achieved.
To achieve these objectives, the competition takes place on an interactive platform where participants progress by overcoming different challenges related to financial education. Each thematic block includes creative tests in formats such as videos, podcasts, monologues, or animations, fostering creativity and the practical application of the knowledge acquired.
Furthermore, participants have access to webinars with experts in investment, entrepreneurship, and financial management, who share their experience in interactive sessions to bring the reality of the economic world closer to the contestants. Interactive audio sessions that simulate real conversations about everyday financial situations are also included, followed by key questions that reinforce learning.
The competition incorporates a gamification system where participants are recognised for the quality and originality of their content, with the possibility of their best work forming part of a national awareness campaign on the importance of financial education.
The expected impact of the project focuses on improving the understanding of key financial concepts among young people, driving the creation of educational content by the participants themselves, fostering critical thinking and informed decision-making regarding money, investment, and entrepreneurship, and contributing to social awareness about the importance of financial education in society.
«What do I care about money» – The Game revolutionises the way young people learn about finance, combining technology, gamification and experiential learning. It is an innovative model that inspires new generations to manage their money intelligently and with foresight, integrating the entire educational community in the process and turning learning into a transformative experience.
